Are Pastest paces worth it?
The Pastest PACES videos are really fantastic, especially the Neurology & BCC ones. The pdf discussions also greatly helped during revision. Practising the stations gave me great confidence to complete in the specified time. I strongly recommend Pastest to anyone who wishes to clear MRCP PACES with a good score.
Are paces hard?
PACES is tough. You don’t want to be spending your brain power on what to do next in your clinical examination of the patient. You need to be thinking about what you’re going to tell the examiners.
What can I bring to paces?
Before the examination day: Plan your route to the exam centre allowing time for any possible transport delays. You must bring photographic identification with you on the examination day; we require appropriate ID to be an official document which contains your full name, signature and photograph.
What should I wear to paces exam?
A. You can wear your own clothes or surgical scrubs. Please note that we cannot guarantee separate changing facilities at our host centres.
What if I fail Mrcp?
If you include all candidates, the picture is even more grim and our collective pass rate falls to 42.1%. One thing for sure is that failing MRCP Part 1 is quite common unfortunately, and in some cases several times….Failing MRCP Part 1.

How long does the paces exam last?
125 minutes
The examination lasts 125 minutes, including the five minutes between each of the Stations. At Stations 2, 4 and 5 the five minutes are used to read the clinical scenarios and are therefore a vital part of the examination.
Is Quesmed hard?
Difficulty. There is a good variety of both easy and difficult questions ensuring all students can benefit.
Is MRCP exam difficult?
MRCP (UK) exam assesses candidates based on their basic sciences and clinical skills. To clear this exam, advanced hands-on knowledge of applied basic sciences and medical principles is necessary. As a result, MRCP is difficult; there’s no doubt in that fact.
How many times can you take paces?
Limited attempts for MRCP(UK) examinations * Please note candidates have six attempts for Part 2 Written and six attempts for PACES.
How many times can you take MRCP exam?
The Number of Attempts Allowed – The MRCP exam has a limit to the number of attempts allowed – you can attempt the MRCP medical entrance exam a maximum of six times each. Thus, you can appear for part 1 and part 2 six times each. However, you must clear part 2 and the paces course within 7 years of completing part 1.
