Can a 2009 Silverado 1500 fit an OnStar antenna?
DOES NOT FIT 2009 SLVERADO 1500! The 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 OnStar antenna requires a 3 prong connection. Bought this for a 2008 Chevy Silverlado 1500. I needed the 3 wire antenna (part #25815079) not this 1wire antenna. Since all that I needed was the Fin/casing part (not the electric part inside), I just took it apart and swapped it.

11.1) With small wrench, loosen antenna mast. 12.1) Unscrew antenna mast to remove. 13.1) Use socket wrench to remove three mounting screws on antenna mast base. 14.1) Lift hood of vehicle and locate antenna bass and coax cable. 15.1) Reach into side opening along fender and pull coax cable from vehicle through rubber gromet.
