Why is my AT bill double?
Here’s why your first bill is usually more than average: It has one-time activation fees and equipment charges. If you start service in the middle of a bill period, you’ll have charges only for the days you used the service.

How much does it cost to add another line to ATT?
When you add another line to your plan, the cost per line per month goes down to $60 for two lines, $45 per line per month for three lines, $35 per line per month for four lines, and $30 per line per month for five lines.
Can you negotiate with AT?
If you’ve been with ATT for many years, you can just flat up ask to get a credit on your next statement for being a long-time customer. Always ask to see if they can increase it 50% from what they offer – they’ll just need to check their system to see if the increased amount is approved.
