All modern off-road rack and pinions use an International tie rod end. On an original and International tie rod end they were threaded 11/16-18 just like OEM. People would cut their tie rod shafts to length and use an 11/16-18 tap to rethread their tie rod shafts.

You turn it clockwise as you’re facing it. BTW an alignment shop will frequently hit the nut with an oxy/acetylene torch to free it up. I never hold the tie rod just let it lock itself at the end of the movement. Thanks!

Dorman is fine for a daily or mainly OEM car. They are sort of like the step up from ebay parts. I never had any issues with them when not abused. Moog is higher end quality (probably one of the few companies that surpass the direct from Honda stuff), but it comes with a price.
