Why are the vents on my Chevy Silverado not blowing air?
OK, trying to help my 82 y/o Dad figure out a problem he is having on his 2001 Chevy Silverado. The dashboard vents will not blow any air but the defrost and floor vents work fine. Not a blower motor issue, can be heard running.

Why are the vents on the front of my car not working?
It tends to get choked over time, especially given that it pulls all the air from the front/engine compartment. You will see a lot of cooling but no air. Or it could be the 2 vents are blocked due to some debris clogging the passage to these 2 vents.

What to do if your truck fan only blows defrost?
Honestly, don’t know if your control head has a built in recal feature, but a cheap way to find out. Re: Fan Only Blows Defrost, Won’t Change To Floor Or Vent. When you reattach the battery and crank the truck dont touch anything for five minutes. Then shut the truck off, crank it and see if its fixed.
