The field is not to be confused with the Turlock metro airfield which is about five or six miles away to the east if I remember correctly.

There is a full time ultralight instructor on the field with aircraft, sometimes spare parts if needed, and plenty of knowledge. I see Challengers, Beavers, Quicksilvers, Flight Stars, and many other ultralights there every weekend.
