Is there hazing in Alpha Phi Omega?
Alpha Phi Alpha Brotherhood, Inc. strictly prohibits any form of fog, both physical and mental, as a condition of membership in the organization. Hazing is illegal and a crime in most jurisdictions. Candidates to the organization can only participate in the sanctioned accession procedure to the scholarship.

Can you be in a sorority and a service fraternity?
Yes, absolutely! There are many of our members who are involved in both. We like to see brothers who are involved in many different ways throughout campus. However, we don’t recommend pledging both at the same time, as this can be a large number of requirements to fulfill all at once.
