Does Nikon VR make a difference?
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. It has a made a tremendous difference. I still try to shot at a high shutter speed but the shake has gone, all the way up to 400. sharp for high shutter speeds when handheld and tripod mounted shots.
Does VR affect image quality?
VR doesn’t reduce the image sharpness, it just reduces the effect of very high shutter speeds. An image with VR at 1/500s will have the same sharpness as an image at 1/4000s with VR, but an image at 1/4000s without VR will be sharper (slightly, and the shutter speeds are just exampes).
Can I use a teleconverter on a zoom lens?
In general, wide-angle prime and zoom lenses are not compatible with teleconverters; which makes sense, since you’re using a teleconverter to increase your reach—and you’d likely start out with a longer focal length lens to begin with.
Which is better Nikkor 70-200 or 70-300 VR?
Though Nikkor AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8 G ED VR II offers a continuous wide aperture throughout its whole focal range but Nikkor AF-S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 IF-ED VR still gives you amazing pictures at a far lesser price. Have an opinion on these lenses or this article?
