Does UCSD admit by major?
UC San Diego is a popular campus with an international reputation for excellence. The campus does not admit students on the basis of academic major or choice of UC San Diego undergraduate college.
Does UCSD have rolling admissions?
We do have “rolling” admissions. But, what rolling admissions means from our perspective is that we plan to make a small number of offers spread throughout the year…it does NOT mean that we make all of our offers in October and November and reject any applicants that happen to be reviewed later.

Can I get into UC San Diego with a 3.5 GPA?

Students who already hold an advanced academic degree may be admitted to UC San Diego to pursue a second advanced academic degree at the same level only under limited circumstances, and only with the consent of the Graduate Council.
