Is epoxy same as Araldite?

How do you mix araldite Klear?
- Roughen, dry and degrease surfaces to be bonded.
- Pour out equal amounts by volume, from both containers.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Apply a thin layer on both surfaces.
- Clamp joints for 2 hours as Araldite® Klear 4+ sets.
How long does it take for araldite to harden?
During assembly apply light pressure to the joint until set (clamps, tape) around 8 hours. Allow 14 hours to attain full strength before rough handling or sanding.
Is 5 minute Araldite waterproof?
Araldite Rapid is also available in handy tubes. Open the tubes and dispense equal amounts of both components onto a clean mixing surface. Within 5 minutes of mixing the adhesive, apply it to both surfaces. Araldite Rapid can be used to bond many materials and is waterproof.
Can I use araldite on wood?
Araldite® Wood Repair is a synthetic wood replacement which can be cut, drilled, filed and sanded as for wood.
How do you use 5 minute Araldite?
To use Selleys Araldite Tubes: Dispense equal parts of both liquids onto a clean disposable surface and mix both parts together thoroughly. The mixed glue will remain usable for 3-5 minutes at 20°C. Apply mixed glue to both surfaces of job – then bring together. Do not apply undue strain to bond for 30 minutes.
