I let off the brakes and the wheel would turn. When moving and brakes applied to slow down the wheel turns but more brake pressure, less wheel turn.

Re: Steering wheel hard to turn right but not left at… Check the power steering fluid level. Left is torque side and probably tightens the belt as right it would loosen the belt a little so check the belt for sloppyness too. Hope this helps, The Raz
What causes no power steering when brakes applied?
I never had a problem with steering in the past, especially in the hills making 18 point turns. Full stop, brake applied, turn all the way then move. This just started today and from what I gather it is either a power steering issue or a hydro-boost issue.
