Are walk behind string trimmers worth it?
A hand-held string trimmer gives you maximum maneuverability. It can move just as freely as your arm, and will handle all those awkward edges easily. But if you’ve got a bigger area – and bigger weeds – to deal with, a walk-behind trimmer will be a better bet. First of all, you’ll get a lot more power.
Can I use any trimmer line?
String trimmer line comes in a range of thicknesses. For light work, such as trimming grass, 0.065″-0.085″ should be sufficient. For thicker grass and weeds, a line in the 0.085″-0.110″ range will get the job done, and for thicker underbrush, anything thicker than 0.110″ will work.

Why does strimmer wire keep snapping?
