What do you use to loosen spark plug on Honda Accord?

I’m not sure I understand your problem, you should be using a thin-wall deep socket meant to loosen/tighten the plug, there is a bit of a rubber O-ring inside the socket to allow you extracting the plug once it’s loosened. I normally use a 3/8″ drive rachet wrench, a 12″ extension that is 3/8″ drive, and the spark plug socket.

Why are my spark plugs stuck together on my V6?

The problem with spark plug socket + extension stuck together is for the rear bank’s 3 sockets on the V6 engine. You’d have to maneuver that contraption in there. I have small hands and I don’t even use that.

How do you thread a Honda spark plug?

Be sure to thread them in by hand. Put the plug in the socket. Lower the socket with the extension and carefully thread and tighten then firmly by hand. If you bought OEM Honda plugs, I believe the instructions say to hand tighten and then twist with the wrench another 3/4 turn or so.

Do you need to Gap Honda spark plugs?

Do not overtighten. If they’re not OEM Honda plugs, they will have to be gapped. Also, be sure to change one at a time. While the plug wire lengths should be easy to figure out, last thing you want to do is mix them up. Got the new sparkplugs (NGK) and got the 16mm socket the manual requested.
