Can you use the Orange Micro Terror without a cab?
Since it’s a solid state amp with a tube in part of the preamp, you can run it without a cab if you like. Real “tube amps” that use tubes for power and pre, typically like to see a “load”.

Is Tiny Terror loud enough for gigs?
The TT will definitely be loud enough. I play in a 5 piece band with a loud drummer. I never have to turn my amp past 5, and I don’t use a lot of gain either, maybe 4 or 5. I have plenty of room to go.
Does Orange Micro Terror Need a speaker?
You don’t need a cabinet connected. It has a solid state output, so running it without a cabinet isn’t harmful. You never want to run a pure tube amp without a cabinet or speaker. The output transformer will blow.
Can you use just an amp head?
In general, you cannot play through just a guitar amp head. The amp head outputs no sound of its own. It outputs an electrical signal, and it is the job of one or more speakers to turn that signal into actual sound that our ears can hear.

Personally I would say that a Dark Terror would be fine, having played one they are far louder than 15 watts suggest and given how I have never played a gig that didnt involve mic’ing up I just presumed most people did.

The same rugged construction used with larger Orange cabinets was used on the PPC108. If you have the Orange Micro Dark head, then you need the Orange PPC108 guitar speaker cabinet.
