If this is for the same engine R18 then all you need to do is turn those 2 little screws on top of the engine cover with a big flat blade screw driver 90 degrees. Its then held in with some rubber grommets, you pull straight up and it should come off., exposing the coils and the spark plugs below. My bad.

Click to expand… there are no push tabs to take off..the front two will be with a straight screwdriver and the remaining with a phillips. Yea I may put it back on, just getting opinions. I would have to get more push tabs or whatever since I had to take out a million of em, flipping aggravating, not sure why honda just didn’t do all bolts.
Where are the screws on a Honda Civic splash shield?
I think the screws are in the leading edge and the rest use clip tabs mounted on the plastic cover. maybe So you might need the tabs, 1/4 (or 1/2) turn screws, screws and the shield. For some reason the the screws are Phillips and the quick release are slotted. Your going to have jack it up to see whats missing.
Is the skid plate on my Honda Civic damaged?
Gonna check it out and pass the link to uncle. He said the skid plate on his Civic might got damaged after hitting the gutter. I’ll just finish installing the exhaust and cold air intakes on the truck and we’ll take a look at it. I think I want to make a new skid plate.
