What is the PMS screw?
The PMS screws taper to a point. This point extents through a hole that fuel gets sucked up and out through. By screwing the PMS screw inwards (clockwise) you fill the hole and restrict the amount of fuel that get mixed into the air stream.
How do you adjust the clutch on a Yamaha V-Star 1100?

Where is the throttle cable on a Yamaha V-Star 1100?
The V-Star 1100 has one choke cable and two throttle cables. Figure D shows the screw that holds the choke cable. Loosen this screw with you Philips screwdriver, and then the cable can be released by actuating the choke linkage, shown red in Figure D, by hand and sliding the cable end out through the bottom of the choke cam.
When to press the starter button on a V Star 1100?
When starting your V Star 1100, it is better to leave the starter button depressed until it starts, or up to around 15-20 seconds. Pressing it for just a few seconds and letting off you are more likely to cause the motor to kick back and damage your starter clutch.

Your V-Star’s carburetors have a venturi that air flows through. The air is modulated by the carburetor slide. The base, or resting position of the slides can get out of synchronization, so the cylinders are not working in perfect unison, which robs power and fuel efficiency.
