Is the VW Jetta a good car to drive?
The engine is awesome and responsive, even after 59,000 miles. It only needs an oil change every 5,000 miles. It gets great gas mileage and is extremely comfortable on road trips. It is extremely well insulated and road noise is unnoticeable, plus the monsoon stereo system is wonderful.
What’s the price of a 2001 VW Jetta?
Affordability turned out to be the main issue with our top-of-the-line 2001 Jetta GLX wagon. It had a base price of $25,400 and a couple of options, including an $875 four-speed automatic transmission. That brought the bottom line to $27,425. Yes, you get a lot in this compact package.
What kind of car is 2001 VW Jetta GLX VR6?
by Ms. Fahrvegnugen from Chicago on Mon Jun 26 2006 I purchased a used 2001 VW Jetta GLX VR6. It came with EVERY imaginable option available. Automatic rain sensing wipers, leather, wood grain, heated seats, sunroof, monsoon stereo. It’s like they crammed some super expensive luxury automobile into this easy to handle car.
How long does a Volkswagen Jetta go from 0 to 60?
It always starts on the first try within 4 cranks, it never dies and the idle is firm and strong. 1.8T with a 5 speed manual gets this car from 0-60 in 6 seconds (tested with obd2 reader.) Not bad for a 15 year old Jetta! I never feel nervous about taking the car anywhere regardless of the mileage.
Is the VW Jetta worth the money?
Can’t beat it for the money, if they’ve been maintained properly they just wont quit! It handles far better than anything else in its price range and the interior feels very premium. I love this car and fully intend on buying another Volkswagen when the time comes.
