It is way too hot in Arizona to not have Airconditioning!!! So I finally figured out what was the problem and here it is. It is a faulty Air Mix actuator or Blend door actuator. You must be logged in to see this image or video!

Why are the vents on the passenger side warm?
Repairs for this problem = A/C compressor, orifice tube and drier replaced about 1 year ago. The problem I have is that when you turn the ac on the cool air only comes out the 2 vents on the passenger side. The 2 vents on the drivers side have warm air blowing out. A/C is controls are set to max air and max cold on the temp control.

It’s underneath the passenger dash, where your feet go. Take off that black kick panel thing, and it will be right there. The passenger side does whatever the HVAC panel tells it to, but yes, when both sides are set to cold, the driver’s side is HOT, the passenger’s side is COLD. Anyone have a write up on this ?

How to fix hot air when a / C is on?
You will then turn ignition to the OFF position for atleast 10 seconds, then start the engine and confirm the new actuator is working correctly by turning the climate knob from cold to hot. If all was done correctly it will work!!
