Why is the main beam on my Polo not working?
Side Lights, Dipped Headlights, DRL all work fine. But the main beam does not work. Even when you flash they do not work. They flash when you have the dipped headlights on but when you have them off or on side lights they do not work. Indicators also work fine. I have checked the fuses and they are all fine. Any Suggestions?

So my polo saloon 6k (which has the same dash as a 6n) never really liked to switch from full to main beam but worked often enough to pass the mots. Now it’s hardly ever working and I’m thinking of checking the relays by buying a 2nd hand one at the Bristol show today.
