Why is the I key on my Tiguan not working?
I key is of one part then it has an internal transponder chip that is soldered in the circuit. Mosts likely what happened is the “copper wire wound” coil on the circuit it broken or detached. This coil energizes the above mentioned chip. This key could be opened and coil replaced or re-soldered.
