Why does my EOS sunroof not open fully?
If your motor is audible and your fuses and connectors are okay, you may have to take a close look at the plastic gear parts up in the roof. The nylon parts do wear out since they are in the roof and more exposed to different temperatures. If any of that mechanism fails then your sunroof will stop working even if the motor is still good.

Open and close aout 5 times to spread the grease. Get a tube of KY jelly or Vaslilene and really smear it on the felt (or simular, maybe be rubber) edge beading to allow i to fit snuggly into your roof and making a rain tight, this worked for me, hopefully t will work fo you. Let me know.
