The newer modules are marked 4.8-8.4V. There is evidence that these new modules can be a problem on 4 cell nimh. A 5 cell nimh, or 2S LiFe is ideal unregulated is ideal for the newer modules. The manual is pretty outdated. I wouldn’t put much weight behind it’s suggestions.
