Why does my Volvo XC make a vibration when I accelerate?
This doesn’t feel like that time. Worn drive axles will cause vibration under acceleration as well. If yours are original, then that could be the cause. Mine were vibrating at 100k and slowly got worse until I replaced them at 128k. I first started noticing it, like you, when accelerating at near highway speeds.

Looked at the axle and inner CV boot was damaged and a lot of grease had leaked out. There was play in the axle when yanked on by hand.
