What do you do when your car says key not detected?
If your car doesn’t detect the key fob, the easiest solution is to use the physical backup key instead. Some cars can use either method to unlock the doors and start the engine.
Can I start my push start car with a key?

Why does my car say no key detected?
When we insert the key in the ignition, it says “no key detected.” This seems only to happen when we have driven the car, and then go to start it again within a half-hour or so (such as when you’re running a quick errand).
