How do you test a hydraulic control valve?
To test the PRV (pressure relief valve) pressure, you need to “deadhead” the hydraulic system So like you said-disconnect one of the lines going to your loader and plug the gauge in, then operate the joystick to send pressure to that port. The reading on the gauge is what the PRV is set to.
Why does my tractor bucket drop?
99.99% of the time this is caused by your cylinders leaking internally. Inside the cylinder are two oil seals facing away from each other, or, just one rod seal. If just one leaks oil past, oil will flow thru the lines to the other cylinder and cause your dropping.
Why is my front end loader control valve stuck?
The schematic suggests that it is the upper spring that is stuck in a compressed mode. Hard for me to believe that it is broken, as it would still have some ability to compress and return.
Why does my loader not lift the bucket?
If you push the lever all the way over, the bucket will just drop and empty instead of curl up. You have to just nudge the lever to get it to work. At least it lifts now though and i was avble to move my dirt. That is progress but it sounds like the dealer guys may have gotten the hose connections reversed on the bucket tilt circuit.
What to do if your check valve is not O-ring?
If it is not an o-ring, most likely is a check valve stuck or possibly a spool damaged or sticking. You will have to remove the SCV and disassemble it to inspect for any damage or problems. Could be that something has gotten stuck in the hydraulic oil passages and jamming up the works.
Why does my bucket not depressurize when I hit the wheel?
This is because it has a piloted check valve in the lift and curl circuits. If you damaged the piloted check valves, that would explain why the rod side of the cylinder will not depressurize. Maybe damage to the spool valve? Did you have your hand on the lever when you hit the wheel?
