Where is the push button start button on a school bus?
The push button start at the back control panel also goes through the same switches as the ignition switch. That told us that there was an open circuit at the #4 purple wire with the white stripe. It was a 12 guage wire so it would be easy to locate and trace.

Turned on the ignition key, waited for a couple of moments and hit the starter… Nothing would happen. My dash & gauges were all lit up but the starter wasn’t doing a thing.
Why does my school bus crank but no start?
I went out today to try to start them but they both crank but no start. When cranking the oil pressure gauge gradually builds but doesnt reach past 20 psi. I am new to school buses and especially the maxxforce engines. One unit is a 2012 with roughly 30,000 miles and the other one is a 2009 with 78,000 miles. Any idea what could cause the issue?
