Why are the gauges on my Western Star not working?
(Gauges worked fine untill we sent the truck to get painted, only thing we know is they unhooked the batteries, pulled the doors off and pulled off the hood. they climbed around the engine bay to paint the top of the cab but all connections look to be good. Gauges haven’t worked since truck left the paint shop)

04 WS. Pyrometer started reading crazy high temps a while back, eventually stays pretty well at max all the time. Suspected sending unit, replaced it, same thing. Thinking it must then be the dash gauge, got a new one and tried it today, no change. In taking a close look at the wires on the gauges, they are all wired in parallel.

Are there any problems with my Western Star truck?
The truck started out with a broken AC system straight from the factory. The expansion valve was bad and it was changed at the dealer under warranty. Here are some problems, complaints and things I have run into. The fan in the dash is horrible loud when it runs on a higher speed. The front and rear system fight each other.
Why does my Western Star Head Light quit working?
Head light had two different issues. The first one was the harness being rubbed in half by the hood. It only made contact when the hood was flipped down and not real obvious either. The second time the head light quit was due to corrosion in the connector.
What are the random numbers on a Western Star truck?
Two random numbers it seems to pick the most are either 60 or 90 degree Fahrenheit. A while back it changed to Celcius and displayed the temperature that way, but after shutting down and restarting the truck it changed back to Fahrenheit.
