What kind of engine does a 1995 Mack truck have?

Which is the most powerful Mack 6 cyl engine?
deffinately e7 any yr from 90 to 97 or e techs from 98 t0 02 are good too. probably the 460 xt etech wich had 487hp and 1760 torque is the most powerful mack 6 cyl engine . they are pretty reliable too. i run one in a 04 mack CL700 glider kit i got it turned up put out about 525 hp will run with 550 cats no problem

How long does a smoke and derate truck run?
Derate-Truck will run strong for about an hour in the mornining (Puts out 34 psi of boost on a pull) then the computer cuts it back and will not allow more then 24 which really kills the pulling power loaded. If I shut the truck off and restart, it goes back to full power, it may last 2 miles, or up to ten or so.
When did I lose power in upper gears?
(4 months ago while hauling a load of logs I lost power in upper gears) does this mean what it says!? you lost pulling power ? or it quit lost battery power ?
