How many horsepower does an MBE 900 engine have?
I have an ’05 M2 106 with 4 squirrels………an MBE 900 rated at 250 hp. As Leo has stated in previous posts, I should be thankful for any mileage past 400k on this engine.

How to start a 2005 Mercedes Benz Freightliner?
Park it on a bit of a down hill with the air tanks full. Put it in 3rd gear and shut it off. Turn the key to on and let it roll with the clutch depressed. Release the clutch gently while applying a bit of pressure to the diesel pedal.
Are there any problems with the mb900 engine?
If I recall right there were some issues with those MB900 engines in Freightliners with improper routing of fuel lines that cause fuel pressure problems and the problem you describe maybe have them check that. Would hope engine under warranty if using coolant for blown head gasket or other internal trouble? Denny

Are there any Freightliners with an AA sleeper?
There are a bazillion Freightliners with the AA sleeper and absolutely ugly blue/gray interior. They are perfect for hiring teams, but we want our own type of comfort. We really enjoyed driving the 2007 Sterling with 96″ Bentz/Express Cruiser setup our former owners had, but they were fraught with mechanical problems.
