Where is the fuel line on a DT466?
A DT466 does not have a high pressure fuel system so I am going to assume. That you are checking fuel pressure at the rail right above the intake manifold. If so the best thing to do, to see were you are sucking air from would be to install a known good fuel line to a clean fuel source right of the fuel lift pump.
Where do you find the regulator in a 2006 DT466?
If your engine is a 2006 DT466 then it is found inside the fuel moduel underneath the fuel filter, it comes out by unscrewing it I believe a 6 mm Allen head socket is what it takes. Where you able to find the regulator or do I need to find some picture breakdowns to assist you in locating it?

Pump shaft seals can leak and let air in pump and fuel in crankcase. Normally that creates a cold start problem after setting a while and a crankcase full of fuel when running. Normally dying while running is a problem between the injection pump and tank.
