How much oil does a Zafira gearbox take?
Hi. I read in Haynes manual and on the internet etc , different gearbox oil capacities (1.6litres, 1.7etc and also to add 10% more as Vauxhall made an error in the original amount) for my zafira b 1.6 gearbox.
How do I know if my gearbox oil needs changing?

Where do you change the oil in a Zafira?
The gearbox should have a mark either on the casing beneath the clutch assembly lever of on the end casing (nearest the wheel arch), but this tends to corrode after time. If you do change the oil there is a 13mm bolt behind the o/s driveshaft, if you remove this and refill the oil from there until it runs back out the hole.
Why do I need to change my gearbox oil?
