Why does my car start rough after a filling?
Potential causes include worn ignition parts (coils and spark plugs), lean condition (too much air, vacuum leak), rich condition (too much fuel, fuel presser, leaking injector) or a worn engine (carbon buildup or low compression).
Why is my car shaking after I put gas in it?
filling the car does not make the car shake. but if you mean it shakes when you try to start the car it is because there is not enough fuel in the fuel rail to feed all the plugs. the engine will shake. this is normal.
Can bad fuel cause car to shake?
If your fuel filter is clogged, not enough fuel will be getting from the fuel pump to the injectors. This will cause the same type of shaking as clogged fuel injectors since not enough fuel is getting into the engine. With a bad or clogged fuel filter, you’ll need to replace it.
Why does my Car start after I fill up the gas tank?
When I fill the gas tank up, the car has trouble starting. It happened several times already. I would then try for a while until I start it up again. After that, the car would run fine until I fill the gas tank up the following time. I went to a shop for this but they couldn’t fix it. Do you have any idea why this happens? Thank you.
What should I do after filling up my gas tank?
Possible the cars computer is used to that pressure that’s all gone when you open the tank. Try filling up 20% early or so. Test 1. Turn the engine off, remove gas cap, replace gas cap. Turn engine on, note what happens. Test 2. Next time you go to the gas station, don’t fill up all the way, fill to up to 75% or so, turn engine on, what happens>
Why does my Toyota Camry idle after filling up?
My guess is a sensor or ECU problem. Camry’s do have a sensor which detects the gas pressure. If it were bad gas, octane, etc, you would experience the rough idle everytime you start up, etc, not after you fill up. Are you running your tank near empty?
Why does my car run rough After fueling up?
Possibly at one time the tank got topped off, which caused fuel to be sucked into the evap canister at one time. When you fuel it then gets momentarily saturated, which in turn the ecm opens the purge valve and a gross amount of vapors are sucked into the intake causing a rich condition ( the engine runs rough.)
