Why is my windshield wiper arm not working?
All wiper arms have a hinge at the base that allows the arm to flex as it follows the curvature of the window. If the wiper skips over certain spots, even with a new blade, chances are the hinge is binding from corrosion. It’s most common on rear window wipers since they’re used less often.
How do you remove the wiper arm from a car?
Splines on the inside of the wiper arm fit over splines on the shaft. Lift the plastic cover and remove the retaining nut. Then pull the arm off the splined shaft. Lift the wiper arm a few inches off the glass and slide the locking clip out.
Can a windshield wiper hinge be replaced permanently?

Press forward to wash rear window and pull back to wash front wihdsheild. I could not find another resevoir so assume there is a dual pump attached to the front resevoir to control when it pumps to the front window and when it pumps to the rear level. Hope that helps. When I operate the rear window wiper, the wipers sweep but no washer fluid comes out. The washer fluid reservoir under the hood is full. The front windshield wipers wash just fine. Is there a separate fluid reservoir for the rear window wiper?
