Is there a way to remove the fusible link?
There is a tab in the box closest to the windshield that I pressed but the link still won’t budge. I did a search and if I missed the post titled “how to remove your fusible link after you short it during alternator replacement” I apologize but I didn’t see anything that showed how to get it out. Thanks in advance for your help.

You have to unattach the fuse/relay block from the inner fender. The screws that hold the fusible links are on the bottom. For some stupid reason. Be sure to remove one of the battery clamps first.

The cable was held on by a 10mm nut. Once the wiring was loose, the panel that they were connected to would slide up and out of the main fuse box assembly. Now the bottom bracket had to be removed. There are two locking tabs that have to be released from the inner slot and then the bracket will slide down and off of the fuse box assembly.
