What to do about vibration in Toyota Tundra?
Since all this started the truck has had new brakes all around, fluids changed, new struts, new tires, new rear drive shaft and bearing, aligned twice and alignment checked at least 6 times. Is there a problem with my 2011 Tundra?
Vibration – May FINALLY be solved! So I’ve had this intermittent vibration/surging/bucking problem with my 2011 Tundra since it had around 20k miles on it. I reported it repeatedly to the dealer and each time they said they couldn’t duplicate the problem.
Is it normal for a Toyota Tundra to shake?
So now, a truck going down the road at 40 or 50 and then all of a sudden starting to shake like crazy is normal in the Toyota world. They are stumbling all over themselves when I talk to them and pulling anything and everything out of their collective rears. When I counter an argument they head off on another tangent.
Why is my Toyota Tundra making a pulsating noise?
Another thing could be a caliper dragging and over heating a rotor causing a pulsation even if your foot is off the brake. We had an issue on Avalons where the brake pedal return spring was never installed at the factory and the weight of the pedal on long trips would cause enough pressure in the calipers to over heat the rotors.
Why does my Toyota Tundra make cyclic noise?
Engineer shows up and verifies the cyclic noise and tells me it happens because of the design of the front differential and there’s nothing that can be done about it. Says changing to synthetic in the differential helps, but won’t stop it completely.
Why does my car have so much vibration?

Why does my Toyota Tundra shake while driving?
It starts out faint and the longer you drive (doesn’t matter if on a curve or going straight after it has started) it gets progressively worse to the point that it is rather violent. I believe it to be related to the rear end in some way. Applying the E brake while it is happening results in a very violent shaking.
Is there a problem with my Toyota Tundra?
Look up TSB TC018-07. Probably has not been resolved and Toyota gave up since they can’t figure out what’s going on. They are unwilling to throw parts at it unless they can verify that parts are bad at at this point won’t mess with it until I change the front struts (the left front has a very minimal leak).
Why does my tundra feel like it has a hammer under it?
On my Tundra the only symptom was a rumbling rhythmic vibration at low speed low rpm under load, like going up a hill. I have had many other vehicles with similar feeling, light vibration all the way up to feeling like someone is bumping under your seat with a large hammer. ‘whap whap whap whap’.
