Why is my car not reading my tire pressure?
Without starting the car, turn the key to the “On” position. Press the TPMS reset button and hold it until the light blinks three times, then release it. Start the car and let it run for 20 minutes to reset the sensor. You’ll usually find the tire pressure monitor reset button beneath the steering wheel.

Can a rear tire go away on a 2012 Volt?
Yes, it is happening on my 2012 Volt too in the same manor. First the rear tires go away and then after a tire reset, the front passenger tire disappears. I have even see the indicator come back on line with the correct pressure.
