What would cause the idle to go up and down?
If an engine is not getting enough fuel (this is called “running lean”), due to fuel pressure (regulated by the fuel pump and regulator), restricted fuel injectors, a vacuum leak or really anything that throws off the fuel mixture going in to the engine, this can cause the surge.

Iv done alot of research and used the “search” tool for weeks but nothing has helped me out yet. After a couple of hundred bucks down the drain, im still stuck with the same issue. The truck starts no problems, or hiccups and no check engine light, and runs perfectly smooth for a whole 5-7 seconds and then stalls out.
