- Disconnect the timing wire. It is a tan/black wire with a weather pack connector. It is usually behind the relay cover on the firewall, but has been known to be hidden behind the glovebox.
- Bring #1 cylinder (front driver’s side) to TDC.
- Set timing at 0*
- Reset the computer .
- Plug the timing wire back together.
