Why does my Honda CRV have a shudder?
Hi, I have a 2014 Honda CRV and I had the same shudder around 20-30MPH when I am slowed down on the highway, while stuck in traffic. They did the software update a few months ago but I still have this shudder. I will be taking this back to the dealer. The technicians had mentioned it could be the torque converter.

Tester may be on the right track, or…it might be due to the known issues with the center differential on CR-Vs of this era. If you have never changed the diff fluid on this car, it should be done anyway. And, it is just possible that doing this maintenance may resolve the shudder problem that you are reporting.
