How long does it take to remove a Subaru engine?
i think i’d guess more like 6-8 hours. it can take an hour just to properly deal with fluids – coolant, ATF, oil, power steering, and A/C. granted PS and A/C won’t be done but they will be called for and billed for and in some ways “should” be done.

Do you need trailing arm spacers on a Subaru Outback?
You will still need trailing arm spacers to align the rear, however the late 90’s Subaru Outback had factory lift kits in them, so you can use the taller trailing arms and sway bar mounts from the outback to correct alignment.
