Why is the AC not working on my 2015 Subaru WRX?
2015 Subaru WRX A/C stops blowing cold air after about 5 to 10 minutes. Had service check twice and both times found no leak. As car idles, AC loses coolness and produces normal warm air. i.e. at a stop light.
Why does my Subaru heater blow cold air?
Anyway ever since then it was working fine no issues, then again just recently the car over heated after putting my foot down and the heaters inside the car blew cold air. But as i let it cool and then drove off slowly the heaters kicked in and the temp stayed normal until i got home, no issues.
What happens if your Subaru heater kicks in?
If heater kicks inside car then temp will stay normal but if it starts blowing cold air im screwed!!! Also i have checked oil to see if there is any gunk on cap or dip stick and there isnt, NO white smoke either..car feels same kind of power i think?? erm and expansion tank doesnt smell like sulpher… does this rule out HG?
What should I do if my Subaru overheats?
KEEP YOUR FINGERS SAFE. The fans can come on at any time, the belts are spinning, and stuff is hot, so be careful. At some point, maybe after 5 minutes, maybe after 20 or more, the thermostat should open, and you should see circulation. Top off again.

Inside the car there are a series of ducting or blend doors and their respective controls. I am not really going to give a class on how the ac system works I will save that for another article.

On the H6 platform from 2001 to 2004 both the low and high side lines/hoses tend to leak. You can look for oil residue at the crimp fitting areas of the hoses or if you have test equipment you can test for the leak.
