How is the Subaru Legacy 5 speed handling?
The AWD makes the handling of this car very neutral, and the suspension soaks up bumps while remaining responsive. The steering has good feel and it’s not too over-assisted. The normally aspirated engine revs easily and has plenty of power for daily driving & the 5 speed makes good use of it while adding fun.
Is the Subaru Legacy wagon still for sale?
None for sale nearby. Instead: A “poorman’s Porsche” 4 wheel wagon? 4 years and 75,400 miles and it’s still a blast to drive. Very reliable except wheel bearing issues on both the front and rear passenger side wheels. Extended warranty actually paid off.

Is the Subaru Legacy low to the ground?
Even though this car sits low to ground, it was AMAZING in the winter time (only got “stuck” 3 times in all the years I’ve owned it), never had to put snow tires on it, but I can only imagine how well the performance would’ve been if I had.
