How do you roll down windows with remote Subaru Forester?
Simply press unlock 3x on the remote and hold down for a few seconds on the 3rd. All windows would roll down. It was a nice feature. Of course, now I have remote start which is an absolute upgrade!

SOURCE: My 2003 Forester driver side window wont work. Remove the gusset cover. Pull up the inner door handle cover toward you to remove the upper hook. Pull down it to remove the lower hook. Remove the inner door handle cover. Remove the power window switch assembly. Using a trim panel remover, remove the clips of the trim panel.

Why is my drivers side window not working?
On my 2006 Subaru Forester the drivers side window has been very erratic going up and down way after i pressed it, then working slowly, then nothing, stuck midway up. All the other windows work from the master window switch. I changed the master power window switch but the same thing, all the other windows work but not the drivers.

When you stop the car and turn off the engine you can roll the windows up or down as many times as you want until you open the door. At that point the windows don’t operate. If you turn on the ignition to ACC they still don’t work. You have to turn the ignition fully on but you don’t have to start the engine.
