How do you open the Subaru Forester sunroof?
Pull the switch to the “OPEN” side and quickly release it to open the moonroof. The sun shade will also be opened together with the moonroof. The moonroof will stop at a position 20 in (50 cm) away from the fully closed position. Pull the switch again to open the moonroof completely.
Is the moonroof good for a Subaru Forester?
I’m not inclined to leave the entire roof wide open when the car is parked and unattended. One other negative which others have not mentioned is that the moonroof does intrude somewhat into headroom and space up by the ceiling, but there is so much headroom in the Forester, I don’t consider this a significant drawback.
Is the moonroof open all night in a Subaru?
If it’s not raining the glass is usually open and otherwise the shade is open when I’m in the car. I had to get into the habit of closing the shade at the end of the day, otherwise it can be too easy to forget & leave the glass open all night. In winter that extra light coming into the cabin really brightens things up.
Is the panoramic roof on a forester good?
Some people like all that extra air, some don’t. Unlike smaller sunroof/moonroofs, the panoramic roof on the Forester doesn’t have a feature that allows the rear to tilt up to let a small amount of heat vent out when parked on a hot day. I’m not inclined to leave the entire roof wide open when the car is parked and unattended.
