Yes. But you will have to swap out dbw throttle and components or just swap the heads and run the block. All ej253 blocks are the same.

In the thread they actually choose the EJ255 over the EJ257 for stage 2 mods. This is where they actually stop and no further testing went on to my knowledge. This thread was started by Vendor Maxwell Power (Dom as some know).
