The liftgate now opens using the keyfob or inside button. My 2016 Forester power rear gate stopped d working with the fob button and the interior button.. The solution my dealer came up with was to reset the solenoid which he did by locking and unlocking the power door buttons on the driver door several times in a row. Problem was solved.
