Carved from nature amd situated on a hill side, the campground offers sites which range in size from intimate tenting to spacious RV sites with electric, water and sewer. Rock fireplaces are available at most sites. All sites have picnic tables. There is centrally located WiFi, with a small convience store having ice, wood and limited groceries.

Mariann K Centrally located to see quite a bit in the area. Geodoc Gloucester is a fairly large city on a harbor. The seafood industry dominates the economy. Although the wholesale price of lobsters is very low due to the virus, the retail sellers…restaurants and lobster pounds…have not reduced the price accordingly.
Is it safe to drive on Atlantic Street in Cape Ann?
As others have stated, be cautious driving on Atlantic and Concord Streets. Road is narrow with some lower trees and rock ledge at side of road but it is manageable if you go slow. If driving or pulling over 30′, after you enter you’ll want to pull to the side and call the office.
Where to camp in Cape Ann, North Carolina?
We camped at Cape Ann Camp Site in a Travel Trailer. Beaches fill quickly and parking will close to day visitors early to mid morning. Marshall’s Farm Stand at the end of Atlantic St. Offers great to go food, veggies, ice cream and baked goods.
Where is Cape Ann camp site in Gloucester?
This campground is located about 1 mile from a great beach, and not far from downtown Gloucester. We were horrified when we went into town the first time – traffic was backed up about a mile… so we drove into the visitor center and there we learned that the drawbridge was the problem.
