Which is better formula z or MXZ snowmobile?
The Formula Z is softer with a different skid and just does not take bumps at speed as well as the MXZ. However, it glides over the chatter bumps better and absorbs big hits ok. The formula Z is better for someone who is a litle less agressive and somone not wanting to take a bottle of aspirin after riding. A friend of ours has a 97 583.

I really like the sled. 583 is a bullet proof, quick little motor when jetted right. The suspension is plush and uses the travel well. I put flex skis on mine and the steering is very quick, a bit tippy as most S-2000 chassis sleds are. The full guages are nice and I have a good track with picks on it.
