The BR8ECM is just a low profile version of the BR8ES, if you dont need the low profile, dont use it, its spendy. As far as I know, the KTM 65SX calls for this plus, there is a frame member in the way and it need to have the lower profile plug. But I dont think any other KTM needs the lower profile unit.

Why does my KTM 85 SX have no spark?

It still killed a plug today. Fuel mix 50:1. Float checked at 19mm. needle and seat good. Needle moved from second from top to top rebate. Rev’s moderate to high. you could try an 8 series but ONLY if you keep it off of long top end pulls.
