Why is the rear door on my 01 D2 stuck?
Hi on my 01 D2 , I know this seems like a Old and common problem but….my rear door is stuck closed after changing the rear handle and plate cover and reinstalling the actuator (myself). After fully taking taking the door card off and installing the handle the door has remained stuck closed.
Why does my rear passenger door not lock?

Can a car door be opened from the inside?
If it is engaged, the door will not open from the inside by design. Remove the window crank in cars with manual windows. There will either be a screw in the center of the handle or a retaining clip on the back side of the handle. Remove the inner door handle. Look for a screw in the bezel, under the handle lever.
